Tableau Vivant, Quintessential Mural and The Wizard's Apprentice

Collaboration is something that I find myself being constantly drawn to, I love bouncing off other artists and being part of projects that are just too large for one person to accomplish. One of my first experiences of working in conjunction with a large group of people was during the making of 'The Wizards Apprentice,' a light-painted stop-motion animation. The project took a week to finish, shooting during the baking heat in a blacked out suburban living room. Although the project was very time consuming, having to constantly line up the shots, get the lighting portioned correctly and everything lit over a thirty second exposure the results were extremely gratifying and unique.

Further collaborations with Heather Flockton (formerly Heather Field) resulted in us working with Illustration Jester whilst she delved into the world of graffiti. You can see the time lapse we made in the video underneath.

One of my most frequent and favourite partnerships is with writer and poet Joe Wonnacott. Our current ongoing project is entitled Tableau Vivant; an epic photographic novel that utilizes the dramatic monologue as a vehicle to narrate the story of a Victorian poison seller who has to confront the trail of death he has left behind him. Below are a series images used through part one of the graphic novel.
